Dr. Ngo Duc The is currently an electron microscopist at the University of Manchester (UK). He is doing research and teaching assistant in the field of advanced electron microscopy for microstructural and microanalysis applied for nanostructured materials. Ngo Duc The graduated from Vietnam National University Hanoi with the BSc degree in physics. He was award the degree of PhD (physics and astronomy) from the University of Glasgow (UK). Prior to joining Manchester, he worked as postdoc researcher at several countries including Japan, Singapore and Denmark. He has published over 60 peer review articles and several book chapters in the field of materials science and electron microscopy. He is the co-founder, organiser and lecturer of Vietnam Summer School of Science (since 2013), and co-founder of Vietnam Universities Ranking group.
