Dr. Do Ngoc Quyen holds a master degree in educational effectiveness, awarded by the University of Groningen, and a PhD in higher education studies, conferred by the University of Melbourne. She currently works as a researcher and an independent consultant for international organizations, including the World Bank and USAID, and local authorities and organizations, and universities. She was previously Director of Quality Assurance, University of Economics and Business, Manager of QA, Institute of QA, Vietnam National University Hanoi. Her areas of expertise cover quality assurance and improvement (specifically benchmarking, accreditation and rankings), university governance, performance indicators in higher education, model borrowing, testing and educational productivity models. Her publications, including papers on international journals, a co-edited book and book chapters by international publishers, discuss various issues of Vietnamese higher education. She is also a reviewer of Higher Education journal (Springer) and other international journals in education.
